1). ! Completed Jr HS in Albert Lea, MN in 1943. Moved to Faribault, MN in fall of 1943. Graduated from Faribault HS in 1946. Served 22 months in Army w 18 months in Korea just prior to Korean War. Attended St. Olaf College for 1 yr., then 3 more yrs at Iowa State College in Ames, IA. Graduated with BS in Architectural Engineering in 1952. Worked at Standard Oil of Indiana now Amoco for 3 yrs. as Design Engineer. Started with Alcoa June 20, 1955 in Architectural Section of Sales Development Div. in New Kensington, PA. Transferred to Alply Div. in Pittsburgh in 1962. Transferred to Development Div. in New Kensington in 1966. Transferred to Alcoa Technical Center in 1978. Retired on May 1, 1993. Now spends more time at fitness center when not traveling, attending Elderhostels, or visiting our sons and their families. Volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels and Red Cross Blood Drives. Hobbies include computers, genealogy, golf, and photography including video and video editing.
2). !Graduated from Faribault HS in 1948. Graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN in 1952 BA in Secondary Education. Taught Jr. High English and was School Librarian in Winthrop, MN for 2years. Married in 1954 and lived in Hammond, IN. Taught at a Special Service School there 1 year. Moved to PA in 1955 and had first child. Taught at the Western PA School for the Deaf from 1968 1992. Retired in 1992 and keeps busy volunteering at the Library, Meals on Wheels, church activities, and going to the fitness center. Hobbies include reading, genealogy, and golf.
