1). In his will dated 29 Nov 1770, gives to Har. Coll. £1 0 0 0 , t he interest of which is to be appropriated towards the su p p o r t of a professor of anatomy and physic. His wid. gave the s a m e s u m for the same purpose. Dr. Hersey resided nearly opp. the r a i l r oad station, at West Hing. He left no issue.
2). Sarah was the founder of Derby Academy.
