NOTES
1). Letter dtd 2 SEP 1969 to Aggie Birdwell from Robert Birdwell Box 1661 Clifton AZ , 85533 stated his father was W.H. Bill Birdwell and lived in Seminole, TX, furnishing some family information. Letter dtd 28 Aug. 1974 to Aggie Birdwell from Miss Doll Birdwell stating her father was W.H. BillBirdwell and gave further info. HDL book p.62 has the obituary from the Seminole Sentinel, march 31 1955 giving his history and a tribute from the open Range Cowboy Assn. of Lovington NM. He was a cowboy all of his life.
